Being up early in the morning has it's benefits...as well as seeing a heron fly over I saw these two...

Today has been very hot, a proper summers day, with windows flung open (they are still open now at nearly 9pm...better close the upstairs ones soon before the bats get in!)
When I went to close the windows this is what I saw...
