This year was also my parents 50th wedding anniversary. For a while it looked as though we may not be able to get our combined backsides into gear to organise a suitable celebration...but in the end all came good (as it almost always does!).
A Sunday meal at Wentbridge House
http://www.wentbridgehouse.co.uk/ was settled upon. There were 16 of us, Mum, dad, me, Chris and our three plus Kate (Joe was at work unfortunately), Rob and Laura, John, Nat, Edward and Nat's mum plus my mum's brother Peter and his wife Linda.
The weather was lovely, dare I say a little too warm?! The venue was great. The food pretty good and the company just perfect.
